What is Juicy.SG all about?
Juicy.SG is established in 2010 and is a Singaporean online lifestyle portal and review site. Juicy.SG being an online lifestyle platform for Singaporeans, will provide information about the ‘who, what, how and where’ in and of Singapore such as where to find good food, entertainment and leisure activities. Through Juicy.SG, which aims to connect Singaporeans, people can get to know fellow Singaporeans and find those with similar interests, hobbies as them.
Juicy.SG is formed by a team of enthusiastic and vibrant young people who wanted to first create an online community just for Singaporeans. The idea dawned on them when they were discussing about websites that they like visiting and they realised that mostly are social networks. Equipped with various skills and knowledge needed to start something similar, they put in their heart into creating a website that will cater to Singaporeans with different interests yet, have one goal.. to share their love for Singapore!
Juicy.SG hopes to establish a community presence of Singaporeans online as well as share with its members about Singapore, the things that they know and never knew. Moreover, it is to provide an online lifestyle portal to provide more information to Singaporeans as well as allow them to freely connect with family and friends, both old and new.
So why the name JUICY.SG?
We chose the word Juicy because of the funky image that the word JUICY seems to portray and it best symbolizes the kind of energy that we want for the site! Also, just like how you squeeze an orange for the juice, we’ve squeezed out everything we know about Singapore into this site to make oh-so-JUICY! And for obvious reasons, SG stands for Singapore.
